Caldera Art class

The majority of proceeds from Portland Creative Conference registration fees go to support K-12 arts education programs in Oregon through Keeping the Arts, an Oregon-based non-profit. To-date Keeping the Arts has distributed over $92,000 to support such programs.

Funds raised at the 2016 Portland Creative Conference were used to provide support for the following arts education programs based in Oregon:

  • $2,500 to the Corban Theatre Art’s Summer Camp in Salem, OR to provide scholarships for students in grades 6-12 from to attend the camp at no charge.
  • $2,000 to Open School North in Portland, OR to support their Open AiR artist-in-residence program for at-risk youth.
  • $1,500 to Children’s Repertory of Oregon Workshops in Florence, OR to support their production of The Addams Family Musical, which will have a K-12 kids cast and crew of 30 and will be seen by 1,500+ kids in the community.
  • $1,000 to Caldera Arts Center in Sisters, OR to support their arts programs for underserved youth.

Congratulations to all of our grant recipients.  We appreciate the impact your arts programs have on the youth in your community!
