Our goal at the Portland Creative Conference is to bring to our stage a one-of-a-kind mix of creative leaders from a variety of creative industries and disciplines who all have credits that are household names.  With this announcement of our first confirmed speaker, we have set the bar high.

Named one of Fast Company’s “Most Creative People in Business,” Robert Brunner (@rdbrunner) is the designer of such iconic products as the Apple PowerBook and Beats headphones; and co-author of the book “Do You Matter? How Great Design Will Make People Love Your Company.”

The former Director of Industrial Design for Apple, Robert founded San Francisco-based design studio Ammunition in 2007 to communicate ideas through products, brands, and their surrounding experiences. His work as an industrial designer has spawned numerous brand-defining designs over the past three decades for clients including Adobe, Beats by Dre, Barnes & Noble, Polaroid, Square, and Williams-Sonoma, among others.

Prior to founding Ammunition, Robert was a partner at Pentagram and led strategic brand consulting and industrial design programs for Fortune 500 companies. While at Apple he established its pioneering internal corporate design organization, Apple IDg. Robert is also a co-founder of design consultancy Lunar. As Chief Designer for Beats by Dr. Dre, he helped the company become the top consumer audio brand in the world.

We hope you are as excited about Robert coming to town for the Portland Creative Conference as we are!
