Angela Medlin
Apparel Designer (Nike Jordan Brand, The North Face, Levi Strauss)
Angela Medlin is the Founder of the Functional Apparel and Accessories Studio
(FAAS), recent global Apparel Design Director at Nike WHQ for the Jordan Brand,
and designer of the stylishly, innovative pet product brand, House Dogge.
Angela made her debut in the apparel industry in 1991 designing for one of the
most trend setting apparel brands of that decade, Cross Colours. From there, she
cleared a path up the coast to Levi Strauss & Co, The North Face, Adidas, Eddie
Bauer, and Nike WHQ designing and directing global performance apparel teams.
In 2016, Angela left her leadership role at Nike to take a creative sabbatical in
celebration of 25 years in the apparel design industry and very soon began the
passionate journey of building the educational program, FAAS. The FAAS program
gives opportunity to under exposed and/or aspiring talented creatives
whose focus is on innovation and performance design. In partnership with Pensole
and the Pacifc Northwest College of Art, FAAS students will be directed and
coached to work in “true to life” dynamic product creation teams and industry
development processes. Simultaneously, students are encouraged to build their
personal brand and have the unique opportunity to interact directly with global
performance brands.
